Today, the USADB Youth Division proudly announces our second annual USADB Youth 2022-23 All-American Honors!
We honor the California School for the Deaf-Riverside and the Marie Philip & Walden Schools as Boys and Girls National Champions. CSD-Riverside Boys’ Basketball team had a fantastic season. After finishing 23-6 with an undefeated league record of 10-0, the Cubs had a tremendous season. In addition, they won the Clerc Classic. Marie Philip & Walden, Schools Girls’ Basketball team, played a 20-7 record, including a 12-1 home record, a 9-4 conference record, and a title in the ESDAA.
Boys’ and girls’ USADB Youth Player of the Year awards have been given to Jada Zarembka and Jory Valencia, both from CSD-Riverside. Jeremias Valencia of the CSD-Riverside Cubs has been named the Boys Coach of the Year, and Amanda Geffen of Marie Philip & Walden Schools has been named the Girls Coach of the Year.
Following a three-year hiatus, the USADB Youth All-Star Game will be held on Saturday, April 29th, 2023, at the USADB Tournament before the men’s and women’s championship games.
